Summary: A very pretty wedding took place on Wednesday evening, June 23, 1915, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shinn, where their daughter Myrtle Shinn became the bride of Walter Bakely. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Charles Wilson, Miss Ethel Nipppins, of Smithville, was bridesmaid; Charles Shinn, brother of the bride acted as best man; Emma Hays and Carrie Bakely, nieces of the groom were flower girls. The ceremony was performed by Rev. D. J. Jones of the Baptist Church.
