Ada Frick was the wife of Joseph Rowe. She was previously married to Josiah Boyd. When Joseph's brother-in-law died leaving a widow and six children, Joseph and Ada took the youngest child, Catherine Davenport, and raised her as their oldest child. They also had seven natural children:
Jacob Frick Rowe; Milton John Rowe; Amos Rowe; Elmer David Rowe; Harriet "Hattie" Rowe; Caroline Momyer Rowe and Ulysses Grant Rowe.
