Susannah Gooshorn, daughter of Joh. Jacob Gooshorn and Susannah Fink, first married the widower, Hugh Doran, sometime between 1820 and 1824, becoming the step mother of William Doran, Nancy (Doran) Goshorn, Samuel Doran and Elizabeth Doran.

Susannah gave birth to James Doran, 12 February 1825. Hugh Doran died before May 1826.

By 1827 Susannah married secondly James Pattison. She gave birth to Jane Pattison, about 1827; Sarah Ann (Pattison) Pollock, July 1828; Margaret Pattison, about 1831; Eleanor Pattison, about 1831; George W. Pattison, 1835 (#130151612); and Elizabeth S. Pattison, 1837.
