Marie C. Keefer, 85, mother of Fort Wayne Newspapers Inc.
employee J. Edward Keefer, died at 4:40 pm Thursday in a
Fort Wayne nursing home.
Mrs. Keefer, a native of Ligonier, had lived in Fort Wayne
most of her life.
Also surviving are two sons, Mark A. Jr. of Fort Wayne and
Richard of Lexington, Ky.; two daughters, Evelyn Barrett of
Fort Wayne and Barbara Williams of St. Louis; and a sister,
Anna Miller of Fort Wayne.
Services will be at 10 am Saturday in D.O. McComb & Sons
Lakeside Park Funeral Home. There will be no calling. Burial
will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
