Mrs. Arna Shultz
Lapel – Mrs. Arna Shultz, 85, widow of Perley Shultz, and a lifelong resident of Lapel community, died Sunday evening after a brief illness.
Born a daughter of Marion and Alice Sears, she had lived all her life in the same residence where she was born. She was married in 1915 to Mr. Shultz.
She was a member of the Lapel Methodist Church and of the WSCS there, and the Lapel War Mothers Club.
She is survived by a son, Donald of Costa Mesa, Calif.; a granddaughter, Donna Lee Shultz; and a brother, Omer Sears of Lapel.
The body has been taken to the Fisher Brothers Funeral Home in Lapel where friends are being received.
Final rites will be held at the Lapel Methodist Church by the pastor, the Rev. Marion King, at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery.
