The Daily Olympian yesterday received a dispatch announcing the death in Adrien, Mich. of Miss Grace Chaplin, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. J. R. Chaplin. Miss Chaplin died at the home of her parents yesterday morning. She was a young lady of singularly beautiful character and attracted many friends while a resident of this city. She was but 19 years of age and while not having a strong constitution, she was thought to be in good health.

The cause of her death is not known here. Miss Chaplin went east to attend Adrien university.
