MIDVALE -- Darcy Crawley Smith, age 38, formerly of Kaysville, died on Monday, October 18, 1999.

She was born on February 17, 1961 in Ogden, a daughter of Don and Gloria Major Crawley. She graduated from Davis High School, Dixie College, and Weber State University.

She married Mark Smith in 1982 in Virginia. They were divorced in 1988.

Darcy began her career as a State Probation Officer in 1986 in Ogden, where she worked for four years before becoming a Federal Probation Officer in 1990. She worked in Las Vegas, Nevada, until 1993, when she transferred to Utah.

Darcy is survived by her loving and caring parents; and sisters, Don and Gloria Crawley of Kaysville; Adele Atwood of West Jordan; and Lynn Bliss of Evanston, Wyoming. She is also survived by her wonderful and supportive fiance, Scott Neilson.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 1999, at the Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 East Crestwood Road. Friends and family may call on Thursday only from 12-1:30 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
