John H. Ludwig, 91, of RD1, Middle Ridge Road, Amherst, died in Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington, Ind., yesterday following as illness of one month.
A retired farmer, he had made his home with a son, Donald Ludwig, 1015 Greenwood Ave., Bloomington, Ind., the past year.
Mr. Ludwig was born in Amherst, Oct. 2, 1881, and lived there all of his life before moving to Indiana. he was a member of Old Stone United Methodist Church.
In addition to the son, three grandchildren also survive. His wife, Armina, died last January and a son. neal, died in 1963.
Friends will be received tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Garland Funeral Home, Amherst, where services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Robert W. Sutherland will officiate and burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery, Amherst.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Old Stone United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
