ARLIN E. KRUEGER

Arlin E. Krueger, age 63, of Lake passed away Friday, June 21, 2002 at his home. Arlin was born the son of Gustave and Olga (Tank) Krueger on June 25, 1938 in Appleton, WI. He married the former Carol VanDaalwyk on August 16, 1961 in Kimberly, WI. Arlin had worked as a Contract Price Analyst for the Department of Defense. He had served his country during the Berlin Crisis in the Army National Guard. Arlin had moved to Lake two years ago, having come from Novi. He was active in the Lake of the Pines Men's Club. He had belonged to the American Legion Post 19 in Novi, having served as the Post Commander. Arlin had been President of the Novi High School Boosters Club, Coach for many of his children's activities, and had been an Indian Guide Chief. Family was very important to Arlinm, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, along with golfing, yard work and playing a card game called “Sheepshead.”

Arlin is survived by his wife, Carol; three sons, Kurt (Diane) of Novi, Kris (Holly) of WA, and Karl (Michele) of Lansing; a daughter, Kathy (Jon) Jacobsen of FL; three brothers, Richard, Duane (Bonnie) and Elroy (Mandy) all of WI; nine grandchildren, with the tenth to be born shortly. Arlin was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Service took place on Tuesday, June 25th at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church with Father Joseph Ryan officiating. Burial will be in the St. Cecilia Catholic Cemetery.
