Geneva Buergey age 62 of Commerce, Oklahoma passed away, Wednesday, August 9, 2012 at her home in Commerce. She was born on December 23, 1949 in Miami, Oklahoma the daughter of Jack and Lillian Ardina (Griffin) Buergey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Owen James Crotzer and a brother, Haskell Buergey.
She is survived by her four daughters; two sisters; seven grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Geneva Buergey will be held 10:00AM, Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Quapaw Tribal Building. She will be in state Thursday afternoon at the Tribal Building. Interment will be in the Buergey Family Cemetery in Quapaw. Lenny Sky and Leonard Smith will be officiating Native American Rites. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Miami
