GLADSTONE - Flora M. Moore, 100, passed away Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at the Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba.
Flora was born May 3, 1913, in Flat Rock the daughter of Napoleon and Salome (Viau) Therrian. She worked as a sales clerk in Gladstone and Escanaba for many years, retiring in 1975.
Flora was united in marriage to Robert Moore on March 3, 1930, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Flat Rock and moved to Gladstone where she has resided since.
Flora was an active member of the All Saints Catholic Church, National Catholic Order of Foresters and the Gladstone Senior Center. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, baking and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flora was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert in 1996; daughter, Roberta Benard in 1989; two infant sons at birth; grandson, Christopher Benard; and 12 brothers and sisters.
