Daina G. Hollon, 88, of Louisburg, Kan., formerly of Richmond and Lexington, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 at Richmond Health Care and Rehab in Richmond.
Daina G. Christian was born May 17, 1924 in Waverly, the daughter of Leonard B. and Bessie (Adams) Christian. She retired from the Ray County Hospital after 33 years, 25 of which she was supervisor of the Laundry and Houskeeping Departments.
Daina is survived by children: Leonard Joe Gray, Roscoe, and Linda Kay Hash, Louisburg, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren: two sisters: Marilyn Small, Lexington, and Lillian Smidt, Tacoma, Wash.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband John T. Gray Sr.,; children John Thomas Gray Jr., and Connie J. Williams; brother Doyle L. Christian; sisters, Oleta Veneable, Lila Christian, and Margie Christian.
The funeral service was 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug 5, at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64076; 660-259-2245. Burial in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington.
Visitation was from 1 to 2 p.m., Sunday, prior to the service.
