Lorain- Mrs. Mary Holovacs, 76, passed away at 12:25 this morning in St. Joseph Hospital where she had been a patient for the last three days. She resided with daughter at 1127 West 20th St. for the past eight months.
She was born Jan. 1, 1881 in Hungary and came to the U.S. in 1904. She resided in Henrietta Township for 29 years prior to living with her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steve in 1950 and a daughter Elsie seven months ago.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Kocsmar and Mrs. Margaret Marsh, both of Lorain, Mrs. Grace Baker, Amherst; a son Steve, Henrietta; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Emmerich Funeral Home, Amherst, where services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. J.A. Wenner, pastor of St. peters Evangelical and Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be in Crownhill Cemetery.
