Arling R. Falk, 82, of 1622 Jefferson Street, Two Rivers, died Wednesday evening, January 11, 1989 at the Two Rivers Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Rev. David Scherbarth will officiate and burial will be in Pioneers Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers. Mr. Falk was born November 13, 1906 in the Town of Two Rivers, son of the late Reinhardt and Emma Falk Falk. He attended Rangeline School. He was employed at Mirro Aluminum for a number of years and operated the Washington House from 1945. He married Helen Riha in 1929. She preceded him in death in 1931. He then married Esther Culligan in 1937. She preceded him in death on December 11, 1961. Survivors include a daughter, Helen Schmidt of Two Rivers; two brothers, Lawrence of Two Rivers and Clarence of San Francisco; three grandchildren, Russell Schmidt, Ruth Ann Schmidt and Rita Lorrigan and one great grandson, Andrew Lorrigan. Besides his wives he was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Loose. Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapel, Two Rivers, 5 pm to 8 pm Friday and after 9 am Saturday at the church.

Two Rivers Scene of Riha-Falk Nuptials Solemnized Today St. John Lutheran Church, Two Rivers this afternoon at 4:00 o'clock was the pretty scene of the marriage of Miss Helen Riha, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Riha of Sixteenth Street, Two Rivers to Arling Falk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhart Falk of Route 1, Two Rivers. Rev. Haese performed the ceremony in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and friends. Miss Esther Falk, sister of the groom was the maid of honor and Edwin Loose acted as the best man. Mr. and Mrs. August Wilson were the other attending couple. A reception was held at the home of the bride and a dinner at 6:00 o'clock was served to forty guests. Mr. and Mrs. Falk are leaving Wednesday on a two weeks' honeymoon trip and will take up residence in Two Rivers. Mr. Falk holds a position at Plant 4 at Two Rivers.
