She was born May 20, 1932, in Adair County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late George and Sophia Petty Janes of Adair County, KY.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Calvin C. Brown of Columbia, KY, and the following: One son: Larry Brown and wife Devon, Columbia, KY
One daughter: Sharon Garmon and husband Phillip, Columbia, KY
Two brothers: Avin Janes and Kenneth Janes, both of Columbia, KY
One sister: Jean Bailey, Bloomfield, KY
Mrs. Brown attended the Hutchison Community Church and was a homemaker.
