John Robert and Mary Ellender Stone had the following children:

Charles Isaac McLain Stone b. Jul 31, 1905, Indian Territory, d. Feb. 16, 1980, Ada, Oklahoma, buried at Rosedale Cemetery, Ada OK

Lucy Stone, b. ca 1905-1906, Indian Territory, d. in infancy, ca. 1906, maybe in Latimer County, Oklahoma.

Maudie Catherine Stone, b. July 15, 1907, Holdenville, Hughes County, OK, d. Jan. 6, 1999, McAlester, Pittsburg County, OK, buried at New Talihina Cemetery, Talihina, OK

John Robert Stone died in 1922. His second wife, the stepmother, abandoned the children. Daughters, Martha, Iva, and Hattie were sent by train to the Sand Springs Orphanage at the end of 1922. Iva was taken from the train and died of pneumonia in Ft. Smith, AR. without making it to the orphanage.
