William J. Tramel, 90, of 5438 Georgia, Kansas City, Kansas, died today at Bethany Hospital. A native of Monroe County, Missouri, he had lived in Kansas City, Kansas, 72 years. He retired in 1943 after 35 years as a letter carrier out of the Kansas City post office. He had been a member of the Grandview Christian Church 50 years where he was an elder emeritus. He was a member of Modern Woodmen of American and Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Annabell Tramel of the home; two sons, Howard Tramel of 2606 North Forty-fifth Terrace, Kansas City, Kansas, and Roy Tramel, Lincoln, Neb.; two sisters, Mr. Margaret Harrier, Wichita, and Mrs. Gertrude Campbell, Pleasanton, Kas.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services will be at 11 o'clock Wednesday at the Porter Chapel; burial in Mount Hope.
