Mrs. Maebelle Privott Winslow, Rt. 1 Box 296, Hobbsville died Sunday January 15, in Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Winslow, a native and lifelong resident of Chowan County, was the widow of Kenneth Ray Winslow, and the daughter of Robert W. and Nannie Bell Byrum Privott. She was a member of Warwick Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Robert R. Winslow, Chowan County; one daughter, Margaret W. Eure, Gatesville; one brother, George Privott, Edenton; one sister, Mrs. Cora P. White, Edenton; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Warwick Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday January 17, Rev. Lamar Moore and Rev. Joseph I. Willis officiating. Burial followed in the Winslow Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Warwick Church Building Fund or the American Heart Association.
