Peggy Lou Herman, 71, of Sigourney, died April 1, 2004 at the Keokuk County Health Center.
She was born May 10, 1932 to Bruce A. and Helen N. Moore Bowers at Neodasha, Kan. She was a 1950 graduate of Sigourney High School and attended Ottumwa Heights College. She had helped farm; had been employed with Natural Gas Pipeline, Harper as secretary; and employed with Hollings-
worth Implement, Keokuk County Implement and R.L. Schott Implement for over 25 years. She was a member of the Industrial Club, St. Mary Catholic Church, Altar Rosary Society, and was Religious Director for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Hersh and Marge Farmer; three sons, Louis Herman III, Dave
Herman and Jim Herman; 14 grandchildren four great grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Ann David.
Services were April 3 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Sigouney with Father Philip Ryan officiating. Burial was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Sigourney.
