Born Nov. 19. 1882 to Jaren and Minnie Mary Ann Briggs Tolman.
Married Phoebe Hogan Oct. 14, 1903 in Salt Lake Temple. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. High Priest in Bountiful Ninth Ward, served mission to Central States with his wife, also served three home missions. Member of presidency of High Priests Quorum, Bountiful Stake.
Survivors: widow, three sons, three daughters Mrs. Homer (Winnie) Anderson, Woods Cross, Mrs. Lester (Lucille) Knighton, Bountiful, Mrs. Que (Eva) Seely, Mount Pleasant, Sanpete County; Newell H. Yucaipa, Calif: Eric H., Bountiful; Ephraim H. Buel, Idaho, 32 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. three brothers, Jaren Tolman, Huett Tolman, Salt Lake City, Eugene Tolman, Syracuse, and five sisters; Mrs. Lucinda Smith, Thornton, Idaho, Mrs. Vilate Tolman, Marian, Idaho; Mrs. Sarah Parkin, San Francisco, Ca.; Mrs. Minnie Boyer, Ingelwood, Calif.
Funeral Friday 1 p.m. Bountiful Third-Ninth Ward chapel. Delbert M. Lamb, ward bishop officiating. Friends call at Union Mortuary, Thursday 7-9 p.m. at family residence from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial in Bountiful Memorial Park.
