Harold S. "Steve" Age 66 Died peacefully on August 6, 2012 with his family by his side. Born September 13, 1945 in North Wilkesboro, NC, Steve was a lifelong Detroiter who was proud of his North Carolina roots and spent as much time as he could "down home." Steve was preceded in death by his Parents, Harold and Hazel, and his brothers Benny, and Richard. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Donna; Sister Patty Severt (Rex), and Brother Phil (Marcia), Children; Jill Coble (Jeff), Craig (Michele) Parsons, Lindsay (James Bellicchi), and Melissa; Grandchildren Drew, Kenzie, and Cade. Steve was also proud of his nieces and nephews; Kevin, Keith, Jared (Weston), Jamie (Current), Matt (Weston), Julie (Severt), Kinsley, Stefan, Camryn. Steve was a Navy Veteran, 32nd degree Mason, Shriner, and member of the "Six Packers" Bowling Team. Steve operated Metropolitan Cab Company in Detroit for his entire adult life. Steve was a Detroit sports fan who loved the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and Pistons. Steve was an avid NASCAR fan who made his annual pilgrimage to the Daytona 500 as well as hundreds of other races throughout the years.
