Funeral services for Mrs. Ermel Fae Franks will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012, in the sanctuary of Pineville Park Baptist Church with Reverends Steve McAlister and Tom Lott officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Franks, 81, of Pineville, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012, in Riverside Hospital in Alexandria. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
Mrs. Franks was a retired school teacher having taught at Lafargue High School in Effie for 30 years. She was a member of Pineville Park Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie A. Franks; son, Mark Franks; parents, Calvin and Elsie Ryland Guillory.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Franks Doster of Gulfport, MS; sister, Shirley G. Moss of Effie; grandchildren, Derrick Franks, Annie Doster and Benjamin Doster; great grandchildren, Bradley Franks and Cadence Franks and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Pineville, and from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the Church on Thursday.
Memorials may be made to the Pineville Park Baptist Church Building Fund, 2455 Hwy. 28 East, Pineville, La. 71360.
