Mr. Bobby Joe Walker, age 76, of Indianapolis, IN, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. Funeral services for Mr. Walker will be Graveside, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden with burial to immediately follow. Friends may assemble at the cemetery at 9:45am or visit at Bowlin Funeral Home from 9:00 until 9:45 am. Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Linda Lohr Walker of Indianapolis, sister, Frances Corum of LaGrange, KY and a nephew, Loyd (Doris) Walker of Laingsburg, Michigan. He is also survived by his former wife, Alicia Walker of Water Valley, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wheeler Iverson and Katie Burk Walker and three brothers. Mr. Walker was a member of Dresden First Baptist Church. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force serving in both the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He was also a retired postal clerk with the U.S. Postal Service.
