The cemetery roster lists this person as RT Brown. I believe RT is Richard T Brown, son of William and Demarious Mills Brown. He is listed, age 22, with the family in the 1880 Dade County, Missouri Census.

Three of Richard's sisters are also buried in Long Cemetery. A niece, Jane Birch Akins, is buried next to Richard, a daughter of his sister Margaret Brown Birch.

There is a Richard T Brown, 41, in Cedar County, 1900 Census, but he was born in June, 1859. The birth date is off, but it is believed to be him. His wife is listed as Nancy S, they have been married 18 years. Richard married Nancy "Nannie" Wood on October 6, 1881.

The children of Richard and Nancy listed in the 1900 Census are: a son whose name I can't read ??man, born August, 1882; Virdia M, born April, 1885; William L, born April, 1887; Martha M (Mattie), born September, 1889; Casper T, born April, 1893 and Jeanette, born April, 1897.

After Richard's death Nancy remarried David W Duncan, November 18, 1906, in Cedar County, MO. They moved to Tulare County, California by 1920, where Nancy died December 19, 1945.
