She came with her parents to Nodaway County when she was 18. She married James Henry Argo on December 14, 1893 and lived in the Burr Oak community until the last five years of her life, when the family moved to a farm 1/2 mile north of Skidmore. She was survived by her husband and by four sons, Henry of Skidmore, Olin and Raymond of Pamona, California, and Herbert of Beloit, Wisconsin, and by three daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Davis of Skidmore, Mrs. Cora Perry of St. Joseph, and Mrs. Claud Shull of Cody, Wyoming.
