Mrs.Minnie Catherwood, 78, of Moweaqua was found dead in her home at 6 pm yesterday. She had been under a doctors care for some time.

Mrs.Catherwood came to Moweaqua 52 years ago. She was a member of the Christian church. She was born Aug. 18, 1881 in Shelbyville a daughter of Andrew and Catherine Valentine Page.

She was married to Luther Sarver who died in 1912. In 1914 she married William Catherwood, who died in 1940. She leaves sons, Alfred Sarver, Decatur, Gale Sarver, Moweaqua, Wayne Sarver,Brownstown, a daughter, Mrs.Dorothy Brooks, Findlay, a stepson Glen Catherwood,Decatur, stepdaughter, Mrs. Marie Patton,Springfield, sisters, Mrs.Chloe Bilyeu, Moweaqua, Mrs. Myrtle Ross,Shelbyville, brothers,Tom and James Page, both of Decatur, Ike Page,Chicago, Herman Page, Windsor, 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Two sons were killed in the Moweaqua mine disaster of Dec. 24, 1932.

The body is in the Stine funeral home,Moweaua. Arrangements are incomplete.
