NATIVE OF COUNTY DIES IN HOSPITAL
Dr. Roscoe L. Lee, Born and Reared in This County, Died Today--Burial here.
Dr. Roscoe L. Lee, born and reared in Shelby County died at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis at five-thirty this morning as the result of a year's failing health.
Dr. Lee was known to many persons in this city and county and is survived by a number of relatives residing here.
The death was caused by a complication of diseases and will be the cause of sincere grief both to friends and relatives here and in his home town, Lewisville, Ind.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home at ten-Thirty Thursday morning and the body brought here for burial in forest Hill Cemetery.
Short services will be conducted at the chapel of the local cemetery at three-thirty Thursday afternoon.
Dr. Lee was born south of this city on July 4, 1884, and was at the time of death, forty-four years, nine months and twenty-one days old.
He attended public schools in the county and received his degree in medicine from the University of Louisville. He began practice in Lewisville, Ind., and had been quite successful in his profession.
Dr. Lee's death is mourned by the widow, Mrs. Aurie L. Lee; his mother, Mrs. Mary M. Lee; five brothers and two sisters, Otto Lee and Senora Lee, of this city, are a brother and sister; John W. Lee of St. louis, Mo., Shelby Lee , Delzie Lee and Stanton Lee, of Indianapolis, are brothers, and Mrs. Dora M. Cochran of Scarbro, W.Va., is a surviving sister.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Norristown and a member of a Baptist Church in Lewisville.
