Mr. Gasaway was born Nov. 3, 1882, near Warrensburg, the son of Andrew and Amy Kerwood Gasaway.
He married Cecelia Yaegel on Nov. 4, 1905 in Decatur.
Mr. Gasaway was a member of the International Brotherhood of Moving Picture Operators Local 419.
Surviving are his wife; one sister, Mrs. Richard (Myrtle) Campion of Decatur and one brother, Earl of Springfield.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday.
Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
