Survived by wife, Juanita Sullivan of Baton Rouge; two step-daughters, Mrs. Frank (Shirley) Iueli and Mary Jo Vallee, both of Baton Rouge; a son, James E. Sullivan, Jr., of Clinton; a step-son, Mark Powell of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; four sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Helen) Graham of Walker, Mrs. Milton (Bobbie) Allen, Mrs. Ernest (Barbara) Alford, and Mrs. Tony (Regina) Santangelo, all of Denham Springs; three brothers, Reggie Sullivan, Jr., Stanley N. Sullivan, Sr., and Emmett Wayne Sullivan, all of Denham Springs; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Amite Baptist Church, Denham Springs.
