Marjorie Ruth Wilson, 85, a guest at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Altoona, died Sunday at the home.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Walter L. and Helen M. (Crowell) Wilson.
She is survived by several cousins: Betty in Tennessee, Bonnie and Peggy; and she was preceded in death by a brother.
Marjorie was a 1947 graduate of Altoona High School. She was self-employed as a domestic, retiring in January 1993. She attended the Brethren in Christ Church.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone, Pastor Jeffrey Miley officiating. Interment will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Tyrone.
