She was mother to John George Simpson (who died at birth), Harry Burling Simpson (who died at 3 months), Florence Perrine Simpson Prince McGann, and William Alonzo Simpson, Jessie Frances Lockwood Jackson and Katherine "Kitty" B. Lockwood Mitchell.
