ASHLAND - Mrs. Frances Coverdale, 75, Ashland, died Tuesday at the Ashland District Hospital after a short illness. Born Aug. 23, 1895, near Sun City, she was married to Leroy Coverdale March 15, 1919 in Springfield, Colo. He died Jan. 14, 1951. She moved from Pratt to Citka in 1924. In 1941 she moved to Ashland. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Ashland. Survivors includes son: John, Ashland; Homer, Perryton, Tex.; daughters, Mrs. Asa Hoofer, Ashland; Mrs. Wayne Bird, Medicine Lodge; brother, Victor Moores, Wilmore; sisters: Dolly Moores, Wilmore; Matilda Moores, Coldwater; Mrs. Louella Chandlers, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Ethel Hinkle, Woodward, Okla. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church; Rev. Darrell Davis. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, Ashland. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Brown Mortuary, Ashland.
