MRS. AUGUST SCHUBRING, long a resident of our village died last Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Franzke.
Mrs. Schubring was born in the town of Rockland in the year 1859. In 1882 she was united in marriage to August Schubring, upon which they soon moved to our village and have resided here ever since. One evening last winter she was stricken with a paralytic stroke with which she lingered until her death.
Besides the husband she is survived by seven children, all living in this vicinity. The children are Albert and William Schubring, Mrs. August Knoespel, Mrs. E. Franzke, Mrs. Walter Luckow, Mrs. Emil Luckow, and Lester Franzke. She is also survived by two brothers, Albert Moede of the town of Rockland and William Moede of Mosling, and a sister, Mrs. G. Schlei of Marshfield.
The funeral was held last Sunday morning at Zion Evangelical church, Rev. Haberman performing the last rites.
