Adelia Clara Kloehn, Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, formerly of Forest Junction, age 91, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 1988 at the Calumet Homestead Nursing Home.
She was born Feb. 21, 1897 in Forest Junction, daughter of the late William and Magdalene Halfrisch Hacker. She married Robert Kloehn Nov. 2, 1929 in Forest Junction. She and her husband farmed in the town of Brillion. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church of Forest Junction, an honorary member of the Methodist Women’s and the Helping Hand Bible Class.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Louis Polster, Kiel; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Helen Kloehn, DePere; seven grandchildren, Jayne and Cinda Polster, Russel, Sandra, Kevin and Steven Kloehn; Debbra VanLaanen; three great grandsons, three sisters-in-law, Lydia Schreiber, New Holstein; Helen Goetsch, Milwaukee; Violet Hacker, Kaukauna.
Her husband preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1973; also preceding her in death were three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were at Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction. Rev. Rogert Gossett officiated. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery.
