Addie Mort Hootman

Mrs. Addie Mort Hootman was born in Van Buren county, Iowa, July 11, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Teal, and died at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Workman in Trenton, Michigan, Saturday, March 4, 1947, aged 71 years, 8 months and 20 days.

She was first married to Elmer Mort [21 Apr 1897 near Utica, Iowa] and to them were born two children, Leo and Maude. After her husbands death, she was married to Chester Hootman, [23 Feb 1921] who also preceded her in death.

Surviving are her son, Leo Mort of Milton, Iowa, and her daughter, Maude Workman of Trenton, Mich.; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one brother, Cass Teal of Kilbourne, Iowa.

The body was to arrived at the Catcott Funeral Home in Birmingham, Tuesday, March ??. For further information call the Catcott Funeral Home. Burial in Miller Chapel cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev. Edna Fellows, pastor of the Keosauqua Christian church of which Mrs. Hootman was a member, Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m.
