The 1846 birth date (despite being on the stone) creates two problems with other data:
1) In 1900 Census he gave birth date as Mar 1848.
2) His sister in her marriage data has 1846 birth date and 1900 Census has a Mar 1846 birth date. The birth date on her FAG is Mar 8 1846, so the date of Mar 29 1846 makes them being twins highly unlikely.
Most likely someone had the wrong year when the stone was created.
