Mrs. Garber died of a fractured skull shortly before her husband, Ray Garber, an employee of the Columbia studios, arrived at her bedside.
Four others were injured in the crash, which occurred when the truck turned onto the Golden State Highway from a side road three miles south of here. They are H. H. Davis: 40: Davis, 38, and their son, Harold Davis. 12, all of Los Angeles; and Joseph Silva, 46, of Atwater, a. passenger in the truck.
Mrs. Garber was riding in the Davis car.
