Agnes Evans Barrett, is the daughter of the late Durward R. and Vestia L. Minix Evans.

Agnes lived in South Georgia her entire life.

She was married to Crawford Eugene Barrett, who preceded her in death on August 30, 1990.

She worked as the supervisor of housekeeping at Greenwood Plantation and also was a hairdresser for 34 years.

Agnes was a Charter member of Dawson St. Baptist Church and a member of the Briarcliff Garden Club. Her hobbies included quilting, reading, sewing, working with flowers, painting and embroidering. She also loved to cook especially baking wedding cakes which she did for many local brides.

Agnes leave to cherish her memory, her daughter and son in law, Margaret and Arliss Boyles; a son and daughter in law, Jim and Barbara Barrett; grandchildren Jay Barrett, Stacey Boyles, Michael and Shea Boyles, Ryan and Heather Ferguson, and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Mabree and Seth Boyles; a sister Odean Capps, sisters in law, Ruth Wilson Evans, Janice Little, Eudell Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles "Buck" Evans, Walter Lee Evans, Ronald Evans and by her sister, Jackie Evans.
