Mrs. Grace Gertrude Alveraz, 56, wife of Joseph C. Alveraz, who had been ill for some time, died in a local hospital Tuesday. She was born in Tacoma, Washington.
She was the mother of Theodore Alveraz and sister of Mrs. Winnie Byrne of San Jose. Mr. Alveraz was superintendent of the Walti-Schilling Meat company here for many years.
Services will be held from the Wessendorf mortuary Thursday, November 20th at 9.15 a. m.; thence to Holy Cross Church where at 9:30 a. m. a requiem mass will be said for the repose of her soul. Rosary services will be held in the mortuary chapel Wednesday evening at 8 p. m. Interment in Holy Cross cemetery.
