Passed away January 6, 2008 in Spokane, WA. Rachel was born on March 29, 1922 in Benton City, WA. She was one of 12 children born to Charles and Alice (Barge) McCready. Her family moved to Montana when she was an infant, and she graduated from Round Butte High School in Montana in 1936.

Rachel married Charles Denzer in 1944, and they moved to Spokane, WA in the early 1950's. Charles passed away in 1973. In 1996 she married Earl Goble, and they made their home in Spokane and enjoyed traveling in their car and cruise ships. Rachel was a long-time member of the Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church and held many positions of service in the church while her health allowed. She also was a volunteer with the Red Cross Blood Drive for many years. Rachel is survived by husband Earl Goble, Spokane, WA.

Rachel had no children of her own, but she will be greatly missed by many stepchildren and their children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Rachel Goble will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church, 4449 N. Nevada. Viewing for Rachel will be held between 12:00 and 5:00 pm, Friday, January 11, 2008 at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe. Private interment will be held at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. HAZEN & JAEGER FUNERAL HOME, 1306 N. MONROE in charge of arrangements.
