Bio:
On June 27, 1910 in LaPorte County, Indiana, Charles Samuel Fisher married Lulu Belle Groth, daughter of Otto and Isabella Mary (Harris) Groth. When his mother died in 1914, he and Lulu and their children were living in Salt Lake City, Utah. When he died in 1931, they were living in Denver, Colorado. His obituary in the Vidette-Messenger, Valparaiso, Indiana, dated Aug. 22, 1931 reported that he had died following an emergency operation in a Dallas, Texas hospital, and said, "Mr. Fisher was a member of the firm of Crocker and Fisher, contractors of Denver and Dallas, and was one of the best known civil engineers in the west." His survivors included his widow and five children.
