LOWNDES, Mo.--Bobby Glenn Turner, 75, of Lowndes died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at Three Rivers Regional Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
He was born July 16, 1929 in Flint, Mich., son of B.G. and Fannie Boyd Turner. He and Jean Kinningham were married July 23, 1971. She died July 30, 2004.
Turner was a graduate of Lilbourn High School. He was a farmer and land developer and founder of Turkey Creek Lake Resort.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Turner of Jackson, Dennis Turner of Lowndes; two daughters, Jana Howell of Lowndes, Leigh Ann Powell of Steele, Mo.; two step-sons, Charles Turner of Lowndes and Hoyott Turner of San Antonio, Texas; a step-daughter, Brenda Kirkpatrick of Sturdivant; two sisters, Carolyn Benson and Betty Hubbard of Advance, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery at Steele.
