Gladys V. Chism, 82, of Fulton, MO died on Wednesday, July 11, 1990 at her home. She was born on February 1, 1908, in Lodi, Illinois (which now includes Clark County, Kane County and Kendall County), the daughter of Theodore & Lillie May (Kief) Daro. She was married on September 23, 1933 to William Finis Chism, who preceded her in death on May 11, 1977. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
Mrs. Chism was a member of the Central Co-workers Club of Fulton and the Richland Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Glenwood & Leslie; two sisters, Fern Gingrich and Frances Smith; a brother, Art Daro; six granchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton, MO with the Reverend Chuck Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Callaway Memorial Gardens.
