Katherine Saunders, was born to Thomas Saunders and Elizabeth Saunders 'nee Rook. About 1825.
She married John Mitchell McCraw in 1842 at Purdy, McNairy County, Tennessee.
She was the mother of Ten children.

John Mitchell McCraw and Katherine McCraw 'nee Saunders moved to Alabama Township, Columbia County, Arkansas. After the birth of Sarah Jane McCraw, and by 1861 had taken up two homesteads.

Katherine McCraw 'nee Saunders passed away in February of 1870, of Typhoid Fever. At that time they lived near Falcon, Alabama Township, Columbia County, Arkansas.

In 1871 Nevada County was formed from Columbia, Hempstead and Clark Counties.

So Katherine McCraw 'nee Saunder's burial site is most likely located near Falcon, Nevada County, Arkansas
