George M. Cramer, one of Somerset County's progressive farmers, died at his home in Middlecreek Township, Feb. 17th, aged 66 years. He had been in poor health for some time, from a complication of diseases. He entered the Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, where he contracted pneumonia and died a few days after returning to his home from the hospital.

He was a son of the late Charles R. and Catharine (Whipkey) Cramer, of Middlecreek Township. Of a family of seven children he was the last to pass away.

Mr. Cramer was widely known throughout Somerset and Fayette Counties. His funeral, which was largely attended by friends and relatives, was conducted by Rev. Kulp of the Church of the Brethren. The services were held in the Middlecreek Church of that denomination where the deceased worshipped for many
years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Angie Kreger Cramer. They had no children.
