Elizabeth Haws (q.v. Hawes), whose birth place and parentage have not been discovered by the memorialist, d. of record July 5, 1764 at Wrentham, Mass.
On Apr. 19, 1687 at Wrentham, Elizabeth m. 1) Jonathan Wight, s. of Sgt. Henry Wight and Jane Goodenow, b. July 2, 1662 at Dedham, Mass. He d. Mar. 20, 1717/18 at Wrentham. Elizabeth and Jonathan had seven children at Wrentham who are outlined in their father's memorial.
On Feb. 20, 1721/2 at Wrentham, Elizabeth m. 2) as his 2nd wife, Samuel Bullard of Dedham, s. of Isaac Bullard, b. Dec. 22, 1659 at Dedham. He d. Dec. 8, 1747 as a member of the Dedham South Parish Church. Three months later on Mar. 13, 1747/8 the wid. Elizabeth Bullard was received into full communion of the same church. There are no known children by this marriage.
A deed reference in the 1890 "Wight Family" (p. 12) is repeated here in modified and [annotated] form for perspective.
• [Elizabeth (Haws)(Wight) Bullard] must have lived to an extreme old age as a deed dated Apr. 2, 1764 (Suffolk Records, vol. 102, folio 247) bearing her signature released her dower estate in all the landed property belonging to her first husband, "Jonathan Wight late of Wrentham, yeoman, deceased," 77 years after her first marriage. This deed released and transferred to Elizabeth's son Jonathan Wight, Jr., yeoman, son to the deceased, the right of the other children and heirs, the grantors being: Elizabeth Bullard, living in Wrentham and formerly the wife of said deceased; Elizabeth Ware, widow [1]; Mary Whiting, widow; Jonathan Whiting [2]; Jabez Ware and Michael Ware, yeomen [3]; Jane Fairbanks, widow [3]; Ezra Pond, yeoman, and Margaret Pond, his wife [3]; Leonard Fisher, yeoman, and Hephzibah Fisher, his wife [3]; Ezra Blake, gentleman, and Esther Blake, his wife [3], and Elisha Pond, yeoman, and Phebe Pond, his wife [3].

From this deed the author of the "Wight Family" concluded that dau. Sarah (Wight) Dunham "she, and any children she may have had, were doubtless dead in 1764, when the deed mentioned was made." To the contrary, in 1764 both Sarah's husband and at least three of her five children were still living at Hebron, Conn. That Sarah's family were residents of north-central Conn. versus greater Wrentham, Mass. may have precluded her being part of the lands involved in the deed, or that as the youngest child of the family she previously sold her interest in the property involved.
