Hugh Franklin Russell, 69, Huntington, died unexpectedly Monday morning in a local hospital after a short illness. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, in the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel with Rev. F. D. Coppin and Dan Ivy officiating. Interment will be in Jonesville Cemetery.
Mr. Russell was born February 8, 1884 in Angelina County and had lived here all his life.
Survivors include his wife: 3 daughters, Mrs. Juanita Wisnoski of Houston, Mrs. Mary Best Westberry of Freeport, and Mrs. Joe Dell Wisnoski of Pt. Arthur; 3 sisters, Mrs. Rosie Ward of Beaumont, Mrs. Etta Shofner of Huntington and Mrs. Grace Powell of Lufkin; brother, Jess Russell of Huntington; 5 grandchildren.
