DIES IN CHARLESTON

Mrs. Flora Gibson Beverly, 77, of 183 Kenna Drive, South Charleston, a former well liked Elizabeth resident, died at Thomas Memorial Hospital there Thursday, August 30, after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Wirt County, a daughter of the late W. H. and Odie Petty Gibson.
Mrs. Beverly was the a member of the Christ Church United Methodist, in Charleston, and South Charleston Chapter No. 131, Order of the Eastern Star. She had resided in South Charleston the last 36 years.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph O. Beverly, of South Charleston, and Lyle G. Beverly, resent several year resident of Elizabeth, now of Rt. 1, Forrest Ave., Mineral Wells; three sisters, Mrs. Eloise Pettit, of South Charleston, Mrs. Lucille Kirk, of Bluefield, and Mrs. Luline Deem, of Parkersburg; and four grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Good Sheppard Mortuary in South Charleston, with the Rev. J. F. Yoak officiating, and Brief graveside were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the K. of P. Cemetery where interment was made.
