HOULTON July 23— Edith E. Reed, 68, died today at the residence of her brother, Roy Estey in Houlton, after a long Illness. She was born May 6, 1890 in Houlton, the daughter of Alonzo and Etta (Cole) Estey and was a resident of Houlton all her life.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and a member of the Womens Auxiliary of the church.
Surviving are her husband Frederick of Houlton, two brothers, Roy of Houlton and Ernest of Bridgewater; a sister, Mrs. Gilbert DeVoe of Patten and several nieces and nephews.
Remains are at the Dunn funeral home where friends may call Monday from 3 to 5 o'clock and from 7 until 9 o'clock. Funeral services will be held In the Church of the Good Shepherd Tuesday at 2 o'clock with Rev. Canon P. G. Cotton officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen cemetery.
