NEILLSVILLE - A former Neillsville resident, Clarence Strebing, 69, of Owen died late Friday at Clark County Health Care Center in Owen. Services will be a 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. The Rev. Gary Clark, pastor of United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Neillsville Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and until services Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Strebing was born Oct. 7, 1908 in Greenville, Mich., and moved with his parents to Illinois and later to Wisconsin where they farmed in the town of Washburn in Clark County. He had been a resident of the Clark County Health Care Center for the past 45 years. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Florence Spaete, Neillsville, and Mrs. James (Evelyn) Gillis, Churchville, Va.; and two brothers, Kenneth of Harrison, Ark., and Raymond of Utica, N.Y. He was predeceased by two sisters, Hazel and Mildred; and one brother, Howard.
